“I can’t say enough good things! Jim was wonderful to work with! Everyone I dealt with was great! I wouldn’t hesitate to call Allied for future renovations and I’d recommend them to my friends!"

Having to deal with your insurance company can be a daunting task. We at Allied Restoration Specialist are here to make this process as seamless as possible. We want you to know what to expect from us, your insurance company and your mortgage company so you feel prepared during your mitigation and restoration. Below is an overview of the documents that may be required for the processing of your insurance mitigation or repair claim. Necessary documents may include:

  • Itemized Estimate for Repairs with Sketch of Affected Areas.
  • Photographs of Property and Affected Areas.
  • Signed Work Authorization or Contract A signed Work Authorization allows Allied Restoration Specialist to make necessary repairs to your property. While your insurance generally pays for repairs covered by your policy, as the property owner you are the only person who may sign an agreement for work performed on the property.
  • Punch List. Once repairs are complete, your Project Manager will inspect the repairs with you to confirm that all work is complete and satisfactory.
  • Certificate of Satisfaction/Completion.
  • Change Order. Homeowners sometimes realize that while repairs are under way, it is a perfect opportunity to add closet shelving, change counter tops, or change paint colors. For any changes that are outside the scope of the approved repair estimate, we will provide you with a written cost estimate for your approval prior to the start of work. Change Orders are generally not covered by insurance and are the responsibility of the homeowner.
  • Mortgage Company Documents.

In addition to the above documents, we may ask you to complete one of the following surveys upon completion of all work to provide feedback and to help us improve our future service:

If you have any concerns regarding documentation, please contact our knowledgeable staff. We are here to make this process as easy and clear as possible.
